Excellent hostel! French traveling to Saarbrücken at the start of the 2nd confinement. I recommend in particular the typical and regional dish Saarbrücker Schweinefilet at 18 euros, it is marinated pork with fried onions and accompanied by crunchy carrot vegetables, turnip and sliced ​​and risole potatoes. It was not too fatty and really very good 😋

Very small and very noisy beer garden due to the air conditioning. Radler only in bottles and on that day with an expired best-before date. Very accommodating when it comes to billing. The service was ok.

Beer! Beer! Beer! It's impossible to stop drinking once you start here. 2 liters of beer was gone in minutes. All you need is a good company. It's kind of microbrewery, so it has a very good interior.

We were visiting Saarbrücken and wanted to have a nice dinner in the evening. After we asked at the hotel and asked Google for help, the boot was recommended to us. Fortunately we were there at lunchtime to book for the evening. It was completely full during the week. Of course, that's always a good sign of quality, but you're afraid of having to wait a long time for food and drinks. That was not the case: we were received very friendly and never had to wait long. The waitresses were always nice and very accommodating. Food is great and fairly priced. All in all a nice evening with delicious beer. Unreserved recommendation!

Awesome! Awesome! Food was great! Service was excellent...love the history of the place and i believe, if memory serves me correctly we were told its 5th generation owned so there is major pride of ownership. Plus i think its super cute that they serve beer in a glass shaped like a boot.

This place has been around for decades, even centuries, and for a reason. The food is excellent with a lot of regional choices, the ambience cozy with the beer hall styled interior which oozes German Gemütlichkeit. I can highly recommend going here.

Good Saarland cuisine. The standard program with Lyoner, Gefilde etc. is born. I felt very comfortable here. The only drawback was on my last visit here that was so busy and we had to wait a bit. The kitchen is very fast.

Very good, local food and excellent beer. Personal recommendation: The Saarschleife with some Sauerrahm for the potatoes. Big place but can be crowded so it might be worth to call before you come here. Careful: There are two parts to the Stiefel. One more down-to-earth Gasthaus (recommended) and one more expensive restaurant with different food, so make sure to make the right reservation and take the right door.

Best Brauhsus in Saarbrücken. Try the national dish "Saarlãnische Kartoffelklösse" with a ground meat. About 14e quaint modern brewery on multi levels with an assortment of typical German dishes

Great combination 9f traditional German with nearby French cuisine. Thier home made beer is also worth a tasting 🍻😁
